A smart woman is cautious. She’s not out to be seduced. She’s looking for a good man who likes *her*, not just her body.
And it takes time to figure that out. It also takes time to get to know someone well enough to figure out if *you* like them.
I also had a ‘no sex without a committed, monogamous relationship’ rule. No sex without some kind of ring. The stupid thing is that if you tell a lot of guys that, they’ll offer you a ring on the first date to speed up the process. (Actually had a guy ask me to marry him on the first date after I told him my rule. I quit telling guys about the rule after that! lol!)
And you’re right - why should a guy work for the hard-to-get girls when there are so many willing to let it go for nothing?

The problem is that many women think that by offering a man sex, he’ll love her.
Sex makes women bond. They don’t realize that men aren’t as swayed by that.
For many women, offering a man her body is the greatest act of love she can do. When a man takes her up on that offer, she thinks that he loves her back.
Most sluts know better.
I *never* understood how a woman could sleep with a man she doesn’t love. The way I’m wired, if I didn’t love him before - I sure would after.
I think that this is why so many women end up with bad guys.

There does seem to be a big “DUH!” factor to this article, doesn’t there?
In my experience, women who end up with bad guys do so because they actively seek them out.
I had a rough patch in my early adulthood, the worse I behaved, the more women I had in my life. It was weird and self destructive on my part and theirs. They were all nice girls with their heart set on loving a complete ass.
My wife on the other hand has no room in her life for an ass, which gives me daily motivation to not behave as one.
Yeah. I’d hate to be a young woman in today’s market. Happily, I’m old enough now that it doesn’t matter so much. I’m gainfully employed, and can take care of myself. The older you get, the easier it is to just concentrate on your own life. I mean, it would have been nice to find someone, but... there are so many people in the world whose lives are so bad (hunger, disease, oppression) that I can keep perspective pretty well about it.
