OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - The nation's second-largest Indian tribe formally booted from membership thousands of descendants of black slaves who were brought to Oklahoma more than 170 years ago by Native American owners.

This ought to be good! Get out the popcorn!
We pay......they vote!!
Where’s the Raaaaaaaaacist Kid when you need him?
"Hast du gesehen in deine leben...Dey darker than us...WOOF!"
“Removal from the membership rolls means the Freedmen will no longer be eligible for free health care and other benefits such as education concessions.”
What? No more free sh!t from the gummint?!?
Well, if any of them are gay, they'll surely be able to pressure their way back in.
What I don't get, is that ALL minorities are completely accepting of diversity and "color blind", that's a KNOWN fact (according to my college sociology teacher anyway), so how could indi- er - Native Americans do such a thing? Whitey's got to be behind this, somehow.
I thought it was spelled giverment.
“Gib dem da welf....gib dem da welf!!!”
Oy, vey! Schwartzen!
I loved Blazing Saddles.
So, they are being freed at last. What’s the problem?
Diversity is just a code word for non-White. As long as you’re not white you’re diverse.
Ever hear anyone say that Detroit needed more diversity?
Either party to the suit can lay the blame for their past on the Democratic Party. The party of Jefferson defended slavery in the south and tried to extend it to the territories and other States at every opportunity; Jackson, another great hero of their party, was the president who decided to expel every Indian east of the Mississippi (including a number of my relations in two tribes) thus creating the Trail of Tears; and the Jim Crow South was the single strongest bastion of Democrat political power until the 1960’s. All of these facts have been made to disappear like the images of people in Stalin’s circle when their existence was judged “inconvenient” to the Soviet leader.
The homosexual Indians, whenever the find them.
(including a number of my relations in two tribes)
Yep. Mine, too.
You hit the nail on the head with that post.
This should be good.
Good for the indians. I wonder if most of their crime is from the black people there too, sponging off the indians.
So where’s the NAACP Bnai Brith and all these other people screaming and whining?
Give them a minute.
Thanks! I needed that.
So they are getting booted off the reservations?
The head of the Freedmen made me laugh. Talking about the Trail of Tears, she said: “And we carried the bags!” That’s pretty damn funny.
We’re still going to be picking up the tab...
Probably Congress should withdraw recognition of tribe in retaliation. One good treaty violation deserves another - tit-for-tat.
