Somehow, I am thinking that, if Neantherdals really lookedlike how we think they looked like, considering how physically strong they were, there probably wasn’t much choice in the matter on the part of modern man.
Just guessing us wanting to have sex with them probably wasn’t on our bucket list.

This sounds like some PC BS to me. If this is true, then why aren’t Black Africans being wiped out by viruses?
This is just another bit of propaganda calculated to convince us that White countries and only White countries being invaded by the third world is a good thing for humanity.

I just don’t get why we make a distinction between “modern” humans and Neanderthals. If two creatures can mate and have fertile offspring they are of the same species.

This is what slays me about so much "science" reporting.
whereas the recent migrants from Africa wouldn't have had these genes,
Why not? Who says? They just drop a dubious fact into the mix without support or explanation.

Cro-Magnum, I mean Cro-Magnons mating with Neanderthals. Possible I guess. After all I read somewhere that AIDS came for a bunch of Africans trying to mate with monkeys. As an after thought, that gives a whole new meaning to "Monkey-Butt".

“our ancestors”
My understanding of genetics is that there is not just one genome,so to say “our ancestors” is introducing a universalism that is not warranted.
All the anti-white propaganda coming out of supposedly unbiased academia is sickening, and it`s been going on for decades.

It’s sorta funny. A few years ago, not very many in fact, we were being assured that DNA testing positively PROVED that modern man and Neanderthals never mated AND couldn’t interbreed.
One theory advanced, if I recall correctly, was that modern men woukd have found Neanderthals sexually unattractive.
Seeing that men have been known to mate with walruses, I found that idea a little thin, myself.
