There will also be returning players: Coach and Ozzy.

The "Returning Players" scenario is making this program all the more intolerable to watch.......

When they interviewed me for a chance to participate, they asked me what my major contribution to the program would be.

I replied that I would guarantee that none of the "returning players" would return from a trip around the island with me.........

I wasn't chosen.........

Guess I’m dating myself.

I’m old enough to remember the seventies when each of the Big Four networks would put on a big evening season kickoff extravaganza proudly previewing all the glorious new shows they would be airing.

Remember the one where Dick Van Dyke has been hired to emcee NBC’s season opener and shows up early to rehearse but gets lost in the studio headquarters and wanders through all of the sets of the various shows, inadvertently wreaking hilarity?

I shouldn’t be too wistful. I think it’s fair to say that network TV has made some major improvements—now that they have so much competition.

I’ll go retie my graying ponytail now and powder my balding forehead.

Looks like Ozzy is a bit plumper than he was last time.

Oh, well - if he sticks around he’ll drop it soon enough.

Hope the girls are smarter this season. I’d like to se ‘um take out the guys.

I hate it when they bring back players from prior seasons. They ruin shows when they do this.

Egads, couldn't stand "Coach" (yeah, right, self named, whatever) the first time around. Why the heck are they torturing us with more of him? He'd be my first boot and let the pygmies serve him for dinner or whatever his ridiculous story was.

Note to self: keep knocking on the door until Desmond opens up; when the blast doors slam shut, it’s a food drop.
