Why is Alexander seen as a hero of antiquity while Genghis Khan is “infamous”?

Because the method that the Kahns used were so brutal. Alexander annexed countries and absorbed them.
Kahn just killed them all. Men, women, kids, dogs. All of them. You cannot have a rebellion if you are all dead.

It ain’t how many, but WHO that seems to count.
Look, for instance, at all the black preachers complaining about all the coverage pretty white girls get when they disappear, as compared, say with some honor student in an urban area.
Just for the record, Genghis is considered a hero in Asia, and Alexander WAS a monster.
