Very true. Paul is frequently disregarded, and I’ve heard the argument that Jesus never said anything about homosexuality, so it really isn’t a sin. I’ve also heard the argument that the Greek’s definition of homosexuality is different from what is practiced now, and that what Paul is really denouncing in that passage is the pagan practice of using young boys as temple prostitutes or something similar.
Anybody deep in the grips of sin will find a way to justify their actions.
