If that sounds familiar, it's because we've done this before. I've asked the campaign to organize small, five-person dinners with supporters like you as a regular thing.
These dinners are important to me. Not just because they help me stay connected to supporters like you who are doing the hard work of building this campaign, but because they set us apart.
No matter what our opponents do over the next 14 months, we have chosen to put people at the heart of our campaign -- and we're focused on building it one grassroots donation at a time.

I would love to have dinner with the President and would conduct myself in a professional manner. If any conservative wins the chance to eat dinner with the man, they should show the proper respect for the man and the office. Any other behavior only vindicates the criticism leveled at conservatives.

Just eeewwww. I’d conduct myself professionally (wearing a sophisticated “Palin 2012” button) and then toss my cookies on his shoes. Why should anyone show respect for a man who is in the office illegitimately and isn’t even an American? When someone writes that “when an ill wind blows, I’ll stand with the Muslims”, as Hussein did in his book, he deserves zero respect.
Respectfully disagree. One should show respect to a leader of a nation even if you disagree with him/her. That respect is scriptural, even if the leader doesn’t recognize scripture.
