Too typical that creationists cannot seem to argue against a scientific theory without making the argument about atheism.

Also the context of the statement is very very broad - a very understanding of human nature and the stance our Presidential candidates should take.

By dismissing the very common view that there is no conflict between science and religion the dolt author is presenting the dilemma of the false choice and a false dichotomy.

Moreover there is this....

“each human is born with an innate disposition that leads them towards evil, the goal of governance is to minimize the ability of that disposition to expose itself and cause harm.”

It is hard for me to conceive of a less American viewpoint. It is to protect our inalienable rights that governments are made up of free men. And it is in knowing that government is a necessary evil, composed of men who are inclined to evil, that government is made to be of limited and enumerated powers and among them are NOT in having a government disposed to control your acts with a view towards the disposition of your soul.
