It's the ultimate in minimalism - a reflective aluminium box on wheels from futuristic designer Joey Ruiter.

Two years ago the Michigan-based inventor came up with the stripped bare bicycle named the Super Minimal City Bike, now he's turned to motorbikes.

Ruiter opted to strip the motorbike of all its trappings, no fancy artwork or gleaming chrome.

That seems like a very bad idea to me. I seem to be invisible when I’m on my motorcycle anyway. I don’t want to become even more invisible! Too many close calls.
