4 Americans Get Pot From US Government

EUGENE, Ore. -- The U.S. government considers marijuana among the world's most dangerous drugs, classifying it as a highly-addictive substance that has no medical use.

But there's a catch: The government also supplies four people with 300 marijuana cigarettes each month. They are patients in the government's Compassionate Investigational New Drug Program.

The program began when a Washington, D.C., man sued the government in order to get access to marijuana to treat his glaucoma. He won, and the program was born.

The pot is grown in Mississippi as part of the government's research into marijuana. It's then sent to a facility in North Carolina, where it is rolled into cigarettes.

The government distributed more than 100 pounds of high-grade marijuana to patients between 2005 and 2011.

Every weekend our emergency rooms become clogged with marijuana overdoses.

Every Monday, our classrooms are filled with sweating, twitching children suffering the withdrawal of a weekend spent smoking pot.

When will this madness stop?!! Won't anybody think of the chidren?

Seems like a looong way to go to get some bud rolled up.
How much does it cost them to deliver those 300 joints each month?

Every Thursday, our streets are awash in the blood of stoners who think they can fly.

Every Tuesday, our morgues are filled with axe murdered parents of pot fueled dope fiends.
(wednesdays seem to pretty good, though)

When will the madness stop?!! Won't anybody think of our children?

What is the treatment for glaucoma?

General approach

Although nerve damage and visual loss from glaucoma cannot usually be reversed, glaucoma is a disease that can generally be controlled. That is, treatment can make the intraocular pressure normal and, therefore, prevent or retard further nerve damage and visual loss. Treatment may involve the use of eyedrops, pills (rarely), laser ,or surgery.

Stupid, lazy and cowardly American illegal drug users are too stupid, lazy and chicken to change their reality, so they use illegal drugs to try and ignore their reality for a few minutes and thereby subsidize some of the most vile and ruthless criminals this world has ever produced.

>> Every weekend our emergency rooms become clogged with marijuana overdoses. <<

Lifetime use of marijuana is rarely associated with emergency room visits. According to an analysis of epidemiologic survey data, “[M]arijuana was by far the most commonly used (illicit) drug, but individuals who used marijuana had a low prevalence of drug-related ED visits.” Source: American Journal of Emergency Medicine, July 12, 2010

That’s 10 a day. That many will not only harm their lungs and toxify their livers, they wouldn’t be able to function at all.

And how much is this costing US, the taxpayers???
