Car Plows Into House Where Marijuana Plants Grew
CORYDON, Ind. -- Indiana State Police said a fatal crash near Corydon late Friday led to the discovery of a large indoor marijuana-growing operation.
Troopers said a 2006 Chevrolet heading south on Old Highway 135 ran off the road and crashed into the side of a house and caught fire. The driver, whose name has not been released, was killed.
Investigators said they went into the house to make sure no one was injured and found a large indoor marijuana grow site. After making sure the fire was out, investigators said they got a warrant to search the home.
The home's owner, Caroline Kesten, 46, was arrested after she returned to the house later that night. Troopers said they found 94 marijuana plants, three grow lights with ventilators and dried marijuana.
Kesten was charged with felony counts of cultivating and possessing marijuana and paraphernalia.

“After making sure the fire was out, investigators said they got a warrant to search the home.”
Before the fire was out, all the firefighters were observed standing down wind.
For what it’s worth, back in college, the first time that I heard the now common, “If they gave the world an enema”, the punchline was “they would stick it in Corydon”.
I’d say, looking at it from her point of view, if it wasn’t for bad luck she’d have no luck at all.
Eating Doritos and gigling
I can’t help but wonder if that 2006 Chevy might be an impala that has problems with the rear suspension staying together. You know that problem the new gm said they would not fix.
I do Hydroponics in the winter, maybe I can get a good deal on the lights. LOL
