Who’s really behind Wall Street protests? Radicals foment agitation in New York, while hinting at American ‘Arab Spring’ image

As the news media struggles to find a unifying theme behind the so-called Wall Street protesters, a closer look at the activists behind the agitation reveals a trans formative agenda aimed at assaulting U.S. capitalism.

The Occupy Wall Street movement launched two weeks ago and has been escalating ever since.

The organizers exact motivation has until now been sketchy.

The Twitter feed of a group calling itself Take the Square, one of the social media planners behind the Wall Street protests, has been blasting a multitude of messages, including:

Fight “market dictatorship”

“People of the world rise up!”

“We are legion.”

“Take to the streets.”

Organizers have also been calling for rewriting the U.S. Constitution; imposing a “Robin Hood tax” on most financial transactions worldwide with the goal of taking from the “rich” to give to the “poor;” and giving the Federal Reserve permission to regulate interest rates on savings accounts.

The scheme seeks to bring to American streets the “same indignation that has prompted the people of Greece and Spain to occupy streets and squares on a permanent basis, the people of Egypt and Tunisia to overthrow their governments, the people of Iceland to nationalize their bank system and rewrite the constitution.”

A prominent supporter of the Robin Hood Tax is Jeffrey Sachs, a Columbia University economist who crafted a controversial economic “shock therapy.” Sachs is a key member of the Institute for New Economic Thinking, or INET.

Billionaire George Soros is INET’s founding sponsor, with the billionaire having provided a reported $25 million over five years to support INET activities.

These tools who want to destroy Capitalism...have no clue what they are doing. I say, if they want to live under another system, which by the way they speak would be Socialism, at best, Communism/Marxism, at worst...they should move the F out of the US.

Progressives, Liberals, Socialists, govt-teet sucking losers, et. al, DISGUST ME!!!!

Valerie Jarrett and Soros are no doubt involved in this.

I live in Longview, Washington, the site of recent and ongoing labor unrest. It is unwarrented and the impetus for the violence is by unions outside of the local community.

The coordinated and concerted efforts to project an image of revolutionary fervor in the USA is coming from the White House. It is meant to provide a means for BHO2 to announce a national emergency, declare martial law and suspend elections.

Watch what you do - every individual must be on the lookout NOT to get raked into a confrontation that could spin out of control and give those commie bastards an excuse to suspend our liberties!

They have a fantasy that if the economy collapses, Americans will turn to them for salvation.

America will turn but it won’t be in any way the marxists will like.

Anti-greed group plans prolonged effort in Asheville

ASHEVILLE — A group opposing corporate greed and social inequality has set up camp in downtown Asheville and plan daily demonstrations to raise public awareness.

Participants in Occupy Asheville, a movement held in solidarity with the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protest under way in New York, said Sunday the local effort could last days — or longer.

“People are coming together and saying we don’t like the way things are going and we want change,” said Lisa Landis, of Asheville, a former business owner.

The local effort kicked off last Tuesday with the creation of a Facebook page, and organizers met for the first time Wednesday. The Facebook page by Sunday had grown to more than 1,800 fans.

It’s spreading to cities around the nation. Waiting for the violence to start.

Yep, they want to provoke a response. In this situation, our best response is to hold the line in the face of their ever escalating rage and even violence. (Defend yourself but nothing more)

Just like in the late 60s and early 70s, their movement will collapse and the people will turn away. Our mistake then was in allowing the leaders like William Ayers to walk away when he should have spent the rest of his life in prison.

You can see it right now with these young people on Wall Street. Hold onto your hats. We're going to have an October offensive to take back the American dream and to rescue America's middle class."

A prominent supporter of the Robin Hood Tax is Jeffrey Sachs, a Columbia University economist who crafted a controversial economic “shock therapy.” Sachs is a key member of the Institute for New Economic Thinking, or INET.

There was a great review by Paul Ryan in Friday's WSJ of Jeffrey Sachs' latest book. Ryan said, essentially, that Sachs has a vision of the US that is completely opposite that of the Founders and in fact that of most of us for the last 200+ years. And he's one of Obama's chief advisers.

They plan to start their occupy Michigan campaign on the 15th of this months.

About January and February they’ll be begging for the warmth of freezing rain.
