Skip to comments.Explain how, and why you think, Palin could defeat Obama ( Vanity )
Posted on 10/03/2011 6:51:37 PM PDT by sushiman
I was supporting Cain , but for a variety of reasons have ended that support . There's no one else currently running whom I wouldn't have to hold my nose for when voting . I've always thought that Palin was unelectable ( if she ran , obviously ) , but am open to being convinced otherwise . Thanks in advance .
as far as I’m concerned, she already has.
Palin has a lot of baggage, first off being she seems to want to be anointed.
With due respect, I don’t really buy into the premise yet.....need more info (why Cain, then why not, etc....)..
Times are tough. You should try and conserve your commas.
By being Sarah!
I was supporting Cain and I still am. Sarah cannot defeat Obama because she is not running for office.
In before the “ineluctible” post!
HOW Palin could defeat Obama and WHY YOU THINK Palin could defeat Obama . Comma needed .
And you are still dreaming of throwing hand grenades. They mock what they don't, won't or are incapable of understanding. Deal with the real issues and leave your stink bombs at the frat house.
Should be obvious this was a hypothetical case . COULD the hint word . : )
So being smart equals wanting to be annointed?
When has she ever acted as if she should be annointed. She is not Barack Obama.
Uhm, by getting the majority of electoral votes, sushiman. That’s how things work here in the United States.
SHE IS NOT RUNNING!
(God, I wish she was)
BUT COME ON... HER LAST DEADLINE HAS PASSED!
But aside from Jeffersonian opinions about the care of the tree of liberty, the truth is it is up to the candidate to articulate the reasons to vote for them. Sarah's not done that yet. Sure, there's some great quips and whatnot, but at the moment, she's running on a full load of Hope and Change and very little of that underlying platform, not to mention the lack of being a candidate at this point.
Seriously, it's October, the first primaries are three months away, time to put the Ouji boards away and time for the candidates to stand up for themselves.
Myself, I think the first one who figures out that this is a national election, and that their running mates are every member of Congress who'll work with them, will be the one who carries it across the goal line come convention time. If it's still empty campaign speeches by that point, the contest is lost and liberals already won.
As long as socialism is killed and all its pogroms, and all those that supported Obama are tarred and feathered I don’t really care who gets nominated.
But I have a pretty good feeling knowing who it will be.
Frankly I don’t want to know strategies, and if I were privy to them I would exercise OPSEC procedures.
Looks like I may be off of FR for awhile. But then again I do have a bunch of cuddly kitten pics to post to keep me actively engaged.
Palin has been around for a few years now, ever since Mccain picked her to run for VP. She hasn’t hidden, she is outspoken.
If you do not know her views and platforms by now explaining is a waste of time. You wouldn’t understand.
Pistols at ten paces and because he's a girly man is probably not the answer you are looking for...
Borking of Perry ...Playing the “ gay card “ ...Said he wouldnt support Perry if he won the nomination ...Said he wouldnt appoint a Muslim to his cabinet then flip flopped and said he wouldnt IF the Muslim was a jihadist ( Duh ! ) ...To name a few reasons ...
In PalinDelusionsSyndrome-land Sarah actually won the election in 2008. She just used McCain as the frontman to divert criticism away for her and she used her imaginary volunteer forces in all 50 states to manipulate the vote totals for public consumption. She’s actually paying Obama to pretend to be an ultra liberal stooge POTUS to destroy liberalism forever.
In a few weeks she’ll jump out of a cake and let everybody in on the ingenious master plan.
Old saying: “Woman who runs marathon doesn’t trip on rock.”
the Marist poll saying 45-49 Palin v. Obama. She has reached her negative ceiling and so many in the public don’t know the real her. They just know her through the McCain Campaign filter. In a debate she has the record and the wit to shine versus the rest of the field. She is like Cain in speaking plainly but has the governmental record of high achievement that he lacks.
Very funny ( not ) .
Honestly, Obama is unable to turn the economy around because of his ideological rigidity. The economic situation will continue its death spiral until the next election.
Anyone the republicans nominate is going to beat Obama.
I say this as a small business owner in flyover country. Obama is already on the ash heap of history.
I’m in Japan - give me a break !
Watch The Undefeated. The reason you think she is unelectable is because that’s the false narrative the media and the establishment Repubies have been pushing for all they’re worth. Now, the question you have to ask yourself is why is it that so many on both sides continue to push that narrative? Rush, when talking about Palin, stated it perfectly: The left (and RINOs included) will tell us who they fear. Watch The Undefeated and see how she won in a landslide, then tell me she’s unelectable.
Go to C4P and read the columns. Here is a good one. You need to watch the Undefeated also.
I”m calling BS on you: I don’t think you ever supported Cain - thus a false premise. Why did you have to go through that dog and pony. Nothing wrong with the question you asked about Palin beating Obama, of course she would -as will whoever runs against him.
Just don’t do the BS....
In English we would say "Not very funny." You're welcome. (Would you like some lessons?)
Bologna. Pure grade A beef bologna.
Good analogy. Another is that Obama is a modern day Caligula.
I was a member of his online team for your information . Quit yesterday .
Romney has been called McCain with better hair. He’s also been called Obama with better hair, but that’s racist.
Thank you .
Has she been vetted?
dick head THUMP is on gretta, he is running, just waiting for Sarah to get in, then he will get in, dividing the vote to give OBAMBI the win. FUDT.
I sat my Palin disliking Sister in Law down (she doesn’t hate Palin, just dislikes her) and we watched The Undefeated on PPV last night. She changed her opinion after seeing that movie. She had no idea of the significant accomplishments Palin had achieved in AK.
Well first she’d have to win the nomination, before that she’d have to announce. Until either of those two things happen, she ain’t winning a damned thing, capisce?
Oh, that's an easy fix. This is the thread for those of us who do "buy" the premise. So take a hike, cheesetard.
See? All fixed up nice.
Doesn’t make much sense to answer that question until she announces she’s in the race.
Sarah is going to go Third Party Rogue. Count on it.
You will have three choices. Don’t be in a hurry to choose yet.
Obama may drop out, if he becomes convinced he can’t win anyway.
Hillary will step in. She could win.
There will be a Republican candidate. It may be a RINO. He can’t win... and especially in a three way race. Hillary would win.
It’s all still in motion. Pour yourself a drink while it settles down.
“Said he wouldnt appoint a Muslim to his cabinet then flip flopped and said he wouldnt IF the Muslim was a jihadist ( Duh ! )”
If you want to hold the flip-flop on that against him, that’s fine, but I understand why he walked that comment back, with people claiming he was imposing a religious test and so forth.
To me, his comments on that topic were a positive because there is no one in the field who has been more clear on where he stands on sharia law and related topics.
What he showed me was that, in Barack Obama’s famous formulation, if the winds shifted and it came down to muslims against the rest of us, Obama would stand with the muslims, that Cain on the other hand would stand with Americans.
What the hell are you talking about. I just watched the interview and Trump was more clear than I've ever seen him about endorsing one of the CURRENT Republican candidates. Virtually the whole interview was about his meeting with Romney, Cain and Perry. He even said he would likely endorse one of the Republicans once the primaries begin.
Trump also seemed to think the Republican field was set, that Christie would not run, and that if there were any new candidates it would be on the Democrat side.
Actually, she is. As we speak, she's winning the battle of attrition. As Romney and Perry and Bachmann, etc., lose momentum and drop off the vine, more and more political oxygen becomes available for someone like Palin or Christie, or whoever else had the strategic genius to stay out of the early, meaningless skirmishes.
Cain will fade again as soon as someone new pops up; he's already proven his inability to hold the interest of the voters when faced with actual competition.
Palin is right on schedule... and flying under the radar, and way over your head.
I see that your lack of breeding and shaky academic background is hurting your reading comprehension and your demeanor.
When she doesn’t get in after all, I do hope you will post a vanity apologizing to the FReepers that you treated like crap because of your undying love and adoration of a freaking POLITICIAN.
