Obviously not, since he was able to get elected governor.

Well Obama is WAY TOO SKINNY! I don't think he looks good, he is WAY TOO THIN, looks like a stick man, a walking pencil, looks very unhealthy, bulimic, anorexic, etc. I like a man with some meat on his bones!

Is Christie too fat to get elected? No, but he is too liberal.

Taft was not too fat to be elected president and then go on to the Supreme Court. That’s like asking if Ginsburg is too ugly.

I wonder if Austin will still be talking about this later today. He is the pm drive-time host on a local station here in Boise (he lives here, too).

Unfortunately in today’s TV age I think the answer may be yes. If you look in the modern era of TV politics(starting with Kennedy) you haven’t had a fat or bald President. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Ford would be the exception but he was never elected either. People concentrate on looks.

Me, I wouldn’t support Christy but it has nothing to do with his weight. It has to do with his RINO political beliefs. I do want him to run though. It will take votes from Romney IMO.

All Christie has to has is “the only thing fatter than me is the US Government and I intend to do something about both.”

No, his weight is irrelevant. If we elected presidents based on looks, we would be two countries now.

Christie is too LIBERAL to be nominated. And probably too LIBERAL to be elected right now.

The last rotund liberal republican campaigned tirelessly to put the Income Tax in the Constitution.

If he runs, he’ll crush the competition (snicker).

Is “too fat” code for too leftist?

Fat? Seriously? Now we’re electing people on what the scale says? Can this guy be any more junvenile? Weight can be lost but ugliness can’t.

Sad, but true, appearance is VERY important for campaigning. Lots of stupid people vote on little more than the candidates looks.
