Laugh? No chance. That motley crew of human trash should be thrown into the dumpster.

You ever try selling an old computer? You’re lucky if you can sell it for parts - my mothers computer is years old but it still works for email and “facebooking”. And based on the resolution of the posted pics, I’d be willing to guess that the cameras being used are pretty low quality - my wifes 4 year old feature phone takes better pics than most of those.

I don’t know, but it seems like those guys are protesting the fact that wall street firms and banks all got bailouts, and their ceo’s got multi-million dollar packages, while ordinary people who went to college and got degrees and atried to do “what they were supposed to” are left with a ton of debt, no jobs, and nobody to bail them out. I’ve seen enough threads around here that were anti-tarp and anti-bailout. These guys are saying the same thing. They’re not anti-capitalist, they’re saying let the free market work - if they don’t get a bailout, neither should the banks.

Pretty standard Marxist stuff. But how did this one sneak in:

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

I certainly didn’t support the bailouts but to post a sob story on a $20+ a month internet connection (probably more like $45) from a computer that cost at least a few hundred bucks seems a little more than ridiculous to me. Next, I suppose you’ll tell me they all posted from the free library internet connection, right? 75% of these stories are from single moms with multiple children. They should have thought about the consequences of having unprotected/unwed sex. And where are the fathers anyway? The other 25% seem to be idiots who took out huge student loans, got a sociology degrees or something equally worthless and wonder why they don’t have a job. They ALL probably voted for 0bama, so imo they reap what they sow.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.
Yeah, so what is the incentive to work at all?

Daughter used to date a guy whose mom was this kind of a looney lib. Her big thing was that there was enough land in the USA to give everyone a free house and enough farm land to feed everyone for free. Daughter asked her if the government was going to give everyone a free place to live and free food, why would anybody work? That concept was completely lost on her.

LOL Never mind the fact that a lot of people would need to work to supply those "free" things.

Life really should be hard for the stupid.

please - don’t put words in my mouth. $20-$40 per month to pay for online access, on a computer that’s probably a few years old doesn’t mean that they’re rolling in money, and it won’t really help them when it comes time to pay rent if they cancel service or sell their computer. And I don’t know how many of those you’ve read, but most aren’t women with multiple unwanted kids looking for a handout. They seem to be split between men and women, and most have student loan debt, and are either jobless or working below their education level. What makes you think that the degrees they have are worthless? Are you actually saying that the level of unemployment is so high because college graduates aren’t getting the right degrees, and that’s why they can’t get jobs? BTW, regardless of their degree, college is expensive - even if you go to a state school.

This isn’t a partisan issue, and everyone who was against the bailouts should be on their side. This is about wall street getting too close with govt to the extent that the govt let the free market go to hell, just to keep these firms afloat. Do you really think that those firms and banks only donated to the dems?

That's in Zimbabwe dollars.

On the Dana Loesh show today, she had a bit where they sent a black guy out to interview these clowns in NYC.

The answers to his questions were funny as heck. The clowns were shocked because they didn’t expect the black interviewer to be a knowledgeable conservative.

Remember, it was the GOVERNMENT that gave out all the cash. Some of these banks that they are protesting against were FORCED by the government to take the money when they didn’t really need it. I just think their anger is misdirected and that they appear to be asking for a handout they don’t deserve.

These folks are more than a anti bailout crowd if you see some of the signs they are carrying. It is the usual gimme stuff leftist nonsense of environmentalism, anti war, anti capitalism greedy “fat cat” sloganeering bag of tricks. And further the cause of the fact that they do not have jobs is not because “fat cat” bankers received a bailout here. That was 3 years ago. Get over it. The last time I looked this recession is global. This crowd smells more of a Euro socialist mob looking for the government to solve their problems than it does a bunch of libertarians. You can find the same crowds on the streets of Athens as you can on Wall Street today.

These are a bunch of Communists and anarchists pure and simple. They want to wreak havoc and then take total control of everything.
