Sesame Street has joined the Class warfare battle choosing to work for the dark side. They are introducing a new character, "Lily" to explore the issues of poverty? hunger in America. The show comes out on 10/9/2011 and I would like some help in countering the propaganda. Done right this could be hilarious. We could go in many directions however I was thinking of a Tea Party Tammy(Tammy Bruce? or Dolly Madison) or richy kid Chris the capitalist. Better than attacking Lily is to educate or demonstrate to her how Obama libs got her family dependent and want her more dependent in the future.

There was an article posted on FR earlier about how the hunger claim is a myth with Americans living under the poverty line.
As a matter of fact, I know from first-hand knowledge and observation that most of those on welfare and/or living below the poverty line have all of the usual accoutrement in their homes: cell phones, cable TV, flat screens, computers, laptops, wireless Internet.
For some reason that doesn’t scream “impoverished” to me.
So will “Lily” be obese, sporting a cell phone and a custom manicure, and swiping her EBT card as she orders a Happy Meal?
Use the drugs argument. Get the audience to agree that drugs cause dependance and when a person becomes dependant, they are essentially a slave to their addiction. Show that there are different types of addiction. Get them to agree that dependance is bad and that people who get people to be dependant (pushers) are even worse.
Then build the argument that taking government money is a type of depenance. Show that people who take government money give up there freedoms in exchange for the money. Then show how people become addicted to government handouts, money, programs, etc. Show how it is not fair for government to give money to some people and take it from others. Make the emotional push that the government is the pusher.
Caution - avoid doing the look alike puppets. Runs into all kinds of legal issues and they can tie you up in court and prevent you from presenting the video.

Ok this is where is gets weird. Our version, little dark, she comes on the show and in the den of her introduction immediately Oscar is onto her. He harangues her about her assumptions, logic there is a fight and he physically attacks her gutting her only to find out boom inside of her is another muppet Barack Obama. Desperate sweating he tries to get to his teleprompters but then the whole gang says no just talk to us straight. Why did you do this. He stammers that we aren’t better off than we were 4 years ago and no way is he going back to being a community organizer. The gang is shocked to hear that he hates the hood, doesn’t want to work in the community again. He is too happy with his rich food, jet rides, celebrity parties, he has moved on from his old days living in the hood.
No look alikes are cool. I know the law on this. This is why Mel Brooks could do Space Balls to Lucas’s Star Wars. Any parody is fine. Any presentation seen as political commentary is fine. So with this you have two birds with one stone: Political and Parody.
Also, I say attacking Lily is what they want. That is attacking the poor. We want to attack those that put her there and her family in that sad situation. We also want to attack their alleged solutions to the problems of poverty, a poor economy, think Horatio Alger. We want stories about impoverished boys and Lily and their rise from humble backgrounds to lives of middle-class security and comfort through hard work, determination, courage, and honesty.
HA....that IS a bit dark....but, hilarious.

Ok someone break this down for me. Who is on our side? We have Oskar and why don’t we turn Elmo. He is for her all the way up until he finds out she lied posing as Lily when really she is Obama.

No its likely better to join her in attacking the ideas and people that facilitated her family getting into dire straights. However, in the Obama scenario Oscar suspects she is a fraud and attempts to prove it to others by pulling the unraveling string. Then we see the Obama muppet under and inside the Lily muppet. Demonstrating Lilly was Obama’s puppet the entire time. The whole gang is repulsed at the deception.
LOL! I totally would NOT count on that episode seeing the light of day, but I understand and appreciate that you’re doing this more internally.
It’s sick that they’re going to promote this idea that the poor are so helpless when in reality they’re just... poor. Poverty doesn’t mean that scrounging is below you. Then again, the current batch of “poor” are “Holder’s people” in most cases and are enjoying their Hopey Changey.

SCENE 2: Lily crying by herself, Ernie notices 1st, alerts the others

SCENE 3: Big Bird inquires finds out whats going on
SCENE 4: X character empathizes starts advocating for her spouting off stats and how we should care about the problem
SCENE 5: Oscar jumps in inquisition skeptic
SCENE 6: Others Isolate Oscar/cast divided
EASY DONE
SCENE 7: Oscar gets into altercation, exposes Lily for Obama
SCENE 8: Obama defends, attempts escape, cries
SCENE 9: Cast with Elmo lead refutes and casts Obama out, physically throwing him out of the neighborhood, crashes on his face with his “Mayara Tavares” in the air and his hands on the ground.
Cue soundtrack, theme music, clips of next episode Snakehead JC visits the neighborhood.
DO NOT THINK THIS WAY. It is an OBAMA trap. Regardless if its true, even us middle class feel financial pressure and sympathize. Yes Reagan attacked the welfare queen but our best and first line of attack is we are with you, Black man with 40% unemployment and rising under Obama we want you employed and money in your pockets. Help us fight libs and big gov so we can increase GDP as that is the main thing that will increase your life expectancy(not Obamacare) keep your grandkids out of crime, and give you more power and wealth than the food stamps, sec 8 that the left is trying to bribe you with.
