The site says "Dearth" now. I don't know if it ever said Dirth. www.lucianne.com had the same misspelling in their Google search, but the article isn't at the Google link anymore.

One thing that is curious, there are colleges in Long Island and Suffolk county. So, while 18-24 year olds might be leaving the area to attend college elsewhere, are the colleges that are in the area surveyed empty? Are they counting incoming 18-24 year olds going to college there?

They should try to get people to stay there -- like LOWERING TAXES. But these idoits want to say that doing away with single family homes would make people love it. I don't buy it.
