I have a Browning A5 shotgun that was one of the last ones produced before WWI. I was shooting it at the trap range one day and chatting with a guy. He was a Serb, I told him about the age of the gun and he said “Gavrilo had a Browing! Good gun!”
That was pretty weird.
I went to that thread and noticed I had posted to it several times. The odd thing is even after having my memory refreshed, I have no recollection at all of posting, or the thread itself.
I guess I really am getting old.
BTW, of all the guns he invented, including the .45 auto, Browning was said to have liked the little .32 auto best.
We’ve both been here a spell. I’ve done the same thing myself.
I only remembered because I bookmarked it. ;)
That gun is not that far from being 200 years old yet still looks mint. I have no idea how they were able to preserve it that well even with the best care.
