She said NO! I know we all love Palin but we have to play the hand we are dealt..... Time to check out the Republican Field and pick which canidate you like and support them...... (Even if she did jump in now it would have to be 3rd party....and we all know how that would end!)

Ah No. And I'm speaking as strong Palin fan long before McCain picked her. Palin can wield incredible power in the upcoming election, but will be a stronger influence from the outside than from the inside.

To try to draft her from this point on borders on nuts.

What part of NO is so difficult. Heck, no is the same word in several languages. She said no, that’s it.

I can see it.

I admire and respect it.

But this involves America’s future. That’s not simply drama.

Our nation is at a turning point. This could change the direction. It’s important.

People change their mind sometimes.

Time for you to give change a chance!

So... it appears we`re past denial and we`re on to bargaining. The grieving process moves forward.

In all seriousness.. she said “no”... not “maybe,” not “possibly,” but “no.” She`s not interested in subjecting her family to vicious attacks from the “media” and their masters in the democrat party.

At least for 2012, the Palin-for-President segment is over. Let`s move on.

Saw this on the other thread, and it's quite appropriate:

Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Grief

She knew she wasn’t going to run in June. She isn’t going to run and probably cannot run because she never left FOX. She was most likely called in by FOX once again before the bus tour. Remember that? They wanted to make sure she wasn’t running because the bus tour sure made it look as though she was. I am certain FOX would not want to be hit with lawsuits over letting her campaign while being paid by FOX. Obviously she told FOX she wasn’t running. That is why she said she was doing the tour to inform the people about our history.

She drove a truck over too many people in the pursuit of the fake campaign.

The worst part about letting yourself get conned is admitting it and moving on.

Of course, Cain doesn’t have a record as a proven leader like Palin

What leadership role has Palin completed that's beyond comparable to what Cain's completed?

Let’s see — God and Todd said no.
You say yes.
Gee, I wonder who she’s going to listen to?

You’re not respecting her.

You’re not even listening to her. You’ve moved onto to pleading with her.

Why not just climb on board the bandwagon for your second choice?

My problem with that is that I really don't have a second choice. She was the only one who was up to the job, as far as I can see.

This isn’t about wanting. This is about what is best for her and her family.

Palin herself said in her announcement that she was concerned about doing the best thing for 1) God; 2) Country; 3) Family -- IN THAT ORDER. And I think she means it.

I really don't know how to go about drafting Palin, but I would love to see it happen. I like Cain, but I think we have a vacuum here, nonetheless.

As for the usual Palin haters who are appearing on this thread, if your candidate (whoever) is better than she is, then there's nothing to fear.

Meantime, I'm pretty much waiting to see what happens next. But this is certainly something to consider. And it has happened many times before, when the base wanted someone the Establishment didn't.

While you plead with her to run, she’s going to be off at speaking engagements, making money. Then the holidays will come. She’ll be doing what she has always done, sending out a tweet here or there, poking at Obama. And she’ll appear on Greta’s show, because they’re friends. But it won’t change anything.

She’ll be busy, living her life, enjoying herself, and time with her family.

And you’ll still be hoping that she’ll change her mind.

She’s not going to do that, though. She’s already moved on. You just haven’t noticed.

You people are making me embarrassed to be a Palin supporter.

She made a decision. Live with it and grow up.
