I think Palin had it right calling it “Crony Capitalism”. And as long as we put the blame where it belongs - on the government.
I did some work at a guy’s new property. New guy lured by AIG to the area. HUGE nice mansion on prime waterfront, with a mortgage payment less than my 1200sf house! Lots of deals went down. I’m not jealous of rich folks. But I was sure p.o.ed when I know it is my money funding it all. Bailouts to AIG and the banks, etc.
And I think that is part of the plan for these bailouts - to get conservatives angry at the bankers, Wall Street, etc. I had to remember to direct my anger at the government.
