She should move out to a free land. I pay 36 dolars per year for each car for the registration. And that was a shock when they went from 24 to 36.
Republicans repealed personal property tax, Dem gov reinstated it.

This whole thing is out of my experience.
You pay tax on cars, no matter the form in which you hold them— car note, lease or paid in full. You pay based on the value of the car. De minimus tax on an old jalopy.
You people should be marching with pitchforks.
