The Latin American bosses make contracts with Petrobras to provide service at x per hour and y per “deployment”.

Then they bitch if the cost of getting someone from the US is more than their contracted “deployment “ rate.

They’re starting to hire some of their own people instead of counting on us to cover them, so that’s a start.

While “puissant” may mean “mighty”
That definition doesn’t wash-
The word sounds more like a name
Of a fancy dish made with squash

Or maybe a facial expression-
With lips pursed and nose aloft-
Or perhaps a new type of pillow
Expensive and sinfully soft

Mostly, it sounds like “pissant”
A creature ineffectual and small
With an attitude like king Obama-
Little substance but plenty of gall

Based on a recent experience, I’ve decided that plenty of males are masochists-blister one’s ears because he is behaving like a cretin with smarmy improper invitations, and tell them to shut it down-and they respond with a proper dinner invitation like a gentleman should, and expect you to forget what they said before, reacting in shocked wonder when you don’t I will never understand the male of the species...

Why, thank you! I’m getting a lot of practice composing poetry communicating with someone who taught me a lot of what I know about it long ago...

The crack passport squad in PGH allowed me through, but now I have to check with folks in Atlanta to see if I will be allowed to enter.

For me it’s clear enough. I enter. I leave when my visa is expiring.

Maybe some one will object and I can sleep in Atlanta and go home.

Uh, what? She has to pay money judt for leasing the car?

She should move out to a free land. I pay 36 dolars per year for each car for the registration. And that was a shock when they went from 24 to 36.

It’s your personal property if you lease it?

This whole thing is out of my experience.

You pay tax on cars, no matter the form in which you hold them— car note, lease or paid in full. You pay based on the value of the car. De minimus tax on an old jalopy.

You people should be marching with pitchforks.

That’s friggin ridic.

I’m with Dave, I resent the annual ‘registration’ fees.
