I am amazed at how long this racist has been on TV.

#####

Not me.

To those in power in the media, “racism” only flows one way.

For them, attacking whites and, for that matter, Christians is fair game, if not outright admirable.

I detested him when he was on a larger stage. My life is more enjoyable (even if by a small amount) now that I don’t see or hear him.

He was one of those people whose sense of self-importance and smug attitude just grated on me.

Glad he is a fat, obsolete has-been. Apparently, a racist, too.

Gumbel a few years ago at the Winter Olympics: “Try not to laugh when someone says these are the world’s greatest athletes, despite a paucity of blacks that makes the Winter Games look like a GOP convention.”

Gumballs belongs to the same cabal of racists like Sharpton, Jackson, un-Rev. Wright, Calypso Louie FairyCon, Holder, and of course our muslime racist obama.

As far as the NBA is concerned, they are nothing more that the basketball version of the movie “The Longest Yard”. They are just a bunch of criminal thugs surrounding a meager handful of good players and certainly not a role model for anyone.

Just proves it is not money which makes you a good person. No matter how much you pay these misfits they always return to the ghetto from where they hatched.

The NBA is a waterdown product.

I can't stand it.

But the players not Lebron or Kobe know that if they have a strike some teams will not make it.

Therefore a cut in players that get on a team makes 2 Million to sit on the bench.

Those players 4-12 will cave.

Of course he won’t be fired, despite his out-and-out racism. He’s a liberal. He said something PC.

A variation on the same theme: The NBA is a celebration of ghetto culture.

HBO’s Gumbel is an idiot. I accidentally listened to a couple paragraphs of his monologue on World Cup Soccer, which he totally botched. No one ever told him that, far from a breath of fresh air, international “football” is just as crass, hyped, money and fame obsessed, and violent as any U.S. pastime. “Real Sports” is hosted by a guy who apparently knows nothing about sports. Embarassing for HBO.

Why, by the way, is nearly every sports documentary on HBO about race? Are they greenlit by Gumbel? I mean, based on tv movies like “Recount” and documentaries like “Obama: Isn’t He Great, 2008” and “Ted Kennedy: A Life (Minus the booze and murder), or Please Path Universal Healthcare,” I’m aware of the networks political leanings. But why this specific focus? Aren’t there lefty sports stories to tell on subjects other than race?

Those stupid, racist GOPers, who don’t know that all the best athletes are blacks.

This afternoon the black sports talking heads on ESPN (Blackistone and Wilbon, in particular) defended Bryant, but they qualified it by adding “although I wouldn’t have chosen his exact wording.” They truly believe that Stern’s relationship with black NBA players whose average salary is $5 million per year and is akin to a slave/slaveowner situation. Truly sick.

Cant post link b/c of copyright complaints

Incorrect. Links to Gannett publications can be posted. What isn't allowed are the excerpts that you did post.

Received another letter from Gannett Publications, publisher of USAToday, and several other newspapers. Due to contractual arrangements they have with third-party content providers, they have denied our request to allow posting of excerpts. They will only allow the posting of titles and links.
