Smart people have known about the pathetic reporting of crime by the politically correct American News Media (MSM) for quite some time. Horrific Crimes against whites by blacks are rarely reported and when they are, race isn't brought up as a factor. Horrific Crimes (far less prevalent) against blacks by whites are front page news in the major publications and the lead stories in Television News. Race is nearly always brought up. This has been true for at least 40 years if not longer. Even in the deep south during the "civil rights era" when supposedly whites were lynching every other black and burning down black churches every other day, black on white violent crime was much, much greater than white on black crime. But the general public didn't and doesn't know this because the news media distorted the news in such a way as to give the general public a false impression.

But now with the Internet we can get the truth out. And that's what was lacking for so many years. Smart people knew it in their gut that the news was distorted (and that's a kind description) but didn't have the proof up to now. Now the MSM no longer has a monopoly on news and we can see the truth.

The worst spin I have ever seen from the MSM was from the Jena, LA story of five black men who ganged up on one white high schooler. Even though they put the kid in the hospital, somehow the MSM managed to convince the entire country that the black men were the victims. Even some on Free Republic were fooled.
