We continue to have a pleasant Indian Summer here in Benderville in far north west California. I hope to get my 7 or 8 varieties of Garlic planted today as the bed in spaded, raked smooth and the rows marked out. The soil is nice and damp from the early 4" of rain we had the end of last month. We still have the flowers on the deck to pull and compost but that is minor compared to the garden cleanup.

(She was only a whiskey maker, but I loved her still.)
All the aspen leaves have fallen here in the Colorado Rockies. An early freeze has ended my gardening this year.
