The birds which cannot cope with the demise of Communism
Several bird species which live behind the former iron curtain have been unable to adapt to the demise of Communism, scientists have found.

A study has identified several species of songbirds which have suffered following the demise of the Soviet Bloc after being unable to cope with the consequences of the changes it unleashed in eastern Europe.
While some birds have thrived after adapting to socio-economic changes affecting their habitats such as the regeneration of eastern bloc cities and the emergence of new suburbs those with smaller brains, such as common whitethroat, goldfinch, garden warbler and pipit, have not been able to do so and have consequently lost out since the end of the Communist era, the research by Czech and German scientists found.

(Give me back my conservative vote; then find me a real conservative to vote for)
This has sooo much potential for ridicule of the left.
It certainly explains why the first retort to proposed application of conservative principles is who will be “hardest hit”. LOL
OK OK OK. I’m a racist, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic, islamophobic practicioner of xenophobia.
At least that’s what the small-brained, helpless, non-productive hoplophobes whose very existence is funded by tax dollars taken from me say that I am.
This is rich!

The Silesia area of southwestern Poland had the worst air quality in recorded human history during the Warsaw Pact days. I suspect wildlife is doing much better now.

The footprint of another species that really thrives in communism
It's latin name is Hippius Chickenus
The peace symbol is also a death rune, a symbol of satanism and also of witchcraft. The Nazis used it to mark SS graves. Of course only the small brained birds would adopt that as their symbol for their perfect world.

I don't know if they attach that symbolism to it anymore than kitschy irony, because they consider themselves themselves enlightened (puke) little atheist commies. Like little children whispering in the dark trying to pretend they're not afraid of it.
***whistling in the dark lol. Preview is my friend
I was in Poland, near Crackow, in 1993.Just ouside town was a steel factory. The creek running alongside the road was various colors. Yellow. Red. And steam, almost like fire, was emitted. The environmental horrors would have been funny, had not they been committed under the guise of socialism.
Commies: Green outside. Red inside. True no matter where you find them.
