Egads, Christmas bows!

There’s a saying about the bride should wear the gown, not the other way around. Apparently this designer doesn’t understand that concept.

I made a trip to Tokyo in 1987, and while shopping the Ginza we saw a bright red lace wedding dress. It was complete with red lace veil and accessories.

At one time in the 1800’s, black was the norm for wedding dresses in America. As women then saw marriage as a life of hardship. I have pictures of some of my ancestors in the black dresses.

Well one can't change the times of the past, it is what it was, and yes it would have been an oppressive life. The days when they were only property, could not vote, etc. NAH!

My hats off to all those women, as they endured the hardships of the western life as they came west. I couldn't do it.

Red is the color of revolution across the globe.

Red is the color of the Peoples Republic of China, its flag, its bloody communist past.....and in this case, its Chinese fashion designers.
