Tim Tebow was Tebowed in one of the more memorable moments in taunting history.

In a act that surely will be talked about across the country for a while, Detroit’s Stephen Tulloch sacked Tim Tebow and then got down on one knee in front of the Denver quarterback.

Not much flattery for Tebow as he got blown-out by 35 points.

"I figured I'd get to him a couple of times this game and had an opportunity to get it in," Tulloch said. "It was a little fun, man. No disrespect to Tebow. I was just doing a little 'Tebowing.' It's fun when you go out there and get after it like we did."

"He's a young player, he's got a lot to learn," Tulloch said. "He's a winner. He finds a way to win."

"He just needs to clean up some things in his pass game," Tulloch said. "That takes time. We had a good game plan. You've got to realize we've got a good front seven here. So, for his second start this season coming against us, it's kind of rough for him."

Tebow’s a man, mocking a man makes him stronger and wiser... loosing also makes a man stronger and wiser... this team will make its adjustments, and when they do, mockers will take note. A mocker is a pussy deep down...

“You think Tulloch was praying dogz?”

It is above my pay grade to judge a man in prayer.

For the record, as a Lions fan, I love their swagger- but this was just silly. Tebow is a high character Christian with a high profile- mainly fostered by the media. In a league where dog killers and wife beaters are glorified, the one man who honors God gets treated like a criminal. It sickens me. And it’s the worst among the NFL pundits, especially on the NFL network and that jackass Tom Waddle.

He wasn’t mocking Tebow as much as he was mocking Christians who admire Tebow. That’s OK, I’m sure he’ll do just fine in without any support (or revenue) from me.

On the football field, during a game, Tim Tebow after making a great play has been know to get down on a knee and pray.

Tebow has encouraged others to also get down on a knee and pray and has even giving that practice a “Tebowing.”

And now, when other players follow in Tebowing footsteps, instead of being praised, they are being condemned.

That’s not mocking God. The Tebow kneel down with no warning in the middle of everybody else has become a meme, like planking was a few months ago. Tebow has said he likes it. Probably didn’t like it so much today, but that’s life.

Well put.

Says a lot about the decline and fall of our country that Tebow is mocked and ridiculed.

Was a time NFL players were prohibited from having tattoos.

Are you of the belief that Tim Tebow is the only player in the NFL that should be permitted to get on one knee and pray after making a good play?

It seriously sickens me how so many are going after Tebow. The pundits are treating him as though he go through the locker room preaching with a Bible. I’m pulling for the kid, and honestly believe with the right coach and team, he will be a good QB.

No disrespect to Tebow.

Uh-huh.

It would have been real easy to root for Detroit this season, as bad as they've been for so long. But I like my winners classy.

Tulloch needs to remember the old saying - Paybacks are Hell.

If it was in earnest, I’m sure Tebow would agree, but, BUTTT, it has been reported as mocking... defy it and you have a point.

In the past, Tebow has done the very same thing after throwing a touchdown pass.

Why would there be a payback for Tulloch?
