There should be a pretty interesting live thread here...as I said....how Newt treats Cain will tell us a lot about how the ticket may turn out.

I hope Gingrich & Cain will use the debate to highlight what is wrong with our Gov’t - Obama & Co., rather than going at each other relentlessly. That's not really their style anyway, but what you say re. Newt is true. If he angers Cain with petty attacks, he's out as VP & that would be a loss for all of us, including Cain.
Also, I'd love to see Gingrich rip into Biden in the VP debates. If it is possible to make Biden look a bigger fool, Gingrich could do it.

Not petty attacks...but Newt can’t be dismisive of Cain, or attempt to show him up. Newt is a superb debater, and can think very fast on his feet. He can dazzle a crowd...and that can diminish Cain..I suspect that Newt will be very respectful, even feed Cain a few prompts, softballs...
