I think the democrats are frightened of him - big time. However, I think many black voters see him as the Uncle Tom - which is exactly what Obama and the rest want.

Up until the recent "scandal", Cain would have gotten no more black votes than any other Republican would. But don't underestimate how angry they are over these types of media lynchings. Whether it translates into votes remains to be seen, but it certainly has changed the dynamic.
