My wife and I were at Disco Demolition Night. Don’t blame Steve Dahl for what happened. He came out between games, did his thing according to the script and got off the field. He never incited the crowd to do anything other than show disdain for disco music. His job was to fill the stands and he did. The White Sox weren’t prepared and didn’t have sufficient security people there.
Steve’s mellowed quite a bit. My wife listens to his show and I’ve been to one of his band’s shows. Frankly I think in something like this he’s pretty credible.
