CNBC's Maria Bartiromo's question (aimed at Herman Cain) sounded like a loaded question
11/10/2011 | Laissez-Faire Capitalist

From what I read today at the Chicago Tribune and the LA Times:

"The CNBC host asked that if corporations care about the character of their chief executive officers, why shouldn't Americans care about the character of their presidential candidates?"

1.) Why shouldn't Americans care about the character of their presidential candidates...

When did Cain ever say that Americans don't care about the character of their presidential candidates?

2.) On top of this apparently loaded question, this was shifted to Romney, who was - somehow - fortuitously placed right next to Cain during this debate.

Coincidence?

3.) Now the MSM is shifting away from talking about the question that she asked Cain to how she was booed for asking it. Poor victim for just asking a question? /sarc.

Are these allegations against Cain substantiated or unsubstantiated allegations?

Is Herman Cain guilty until proven innocent?

And it blew up in her face. How could she be that stupid? The mods got spanked by the candidates last night and they knew it.

The thing that sticks out to me, and which I have focused on (although there are other things that could be focused on) is how the MSM has treated Cain in all of this.

It appears that most people had had enough of this.

If there is no objective, concrete, verifiable proof about Cain then the MSM needs to move on. If there is proof, then it needs to be shown.

Enough of the tar-and-feather brigade.

It was a loaded question but NBC was stupid for letting a person with the nickname “Money Honey” ask it.

My question to her would be, “how many guys did you sleep with to get the name “Money Honey”?

It’s the reason I won’t and don’t watch these debates.

They are not designed to inform the public but rather to showcase MSM opinion

It WAS a loaded question...

and then she sicced her wonderboy Willie Mitty onto Herman...

Why didnt Maria asked Michele Bachman what she thought ???

Instead of taking the high road and acting like a gentleman and refusing to be part of the public lynching Rombey jumped in the fray with both feet and had himself a blast...

The white boy from the racist religion beat up on the upstart Uncle Tom...

This gantlet of TV debates is a sham. (How many has it been, 9 or 10? And the primaries haven’t even begun.) It a media gotcha-fest. If several prominent candidates would agree to boycott the perpetual MSM shooting gallery, maybe it would go away. I’m disgusted with the way the media have rigged the electoral process.

Well Maria’s a little lefty just like the rest of them. Sadly she isn’t smart enough to venture off into politics. Newt was just toying with her. It was hysterical. Maria needs to stick to reading the stock prices off the ticker tape.

I had no problem with her question. It was Jim Cramer’s follow up question that crossed the line. It got a lot more boos than hers did too. And rightly so.

she looked nasty and she WAS nasty. She threw that quetion out on purpose hoping to make points... the only thing she succeeded in doing was MAKING herself look like an arrogant ass. She didn’t like the answer so she went to Romney with a question like would you hire.. or something to that nature hoping to suck Romney into the frey. However, Romney ALSO put her down and she didn’t like it.

She tried to put the pressure on Newt as well with a question and then kept saying to him: Are you going to answer the question?

She came across as angry, arrogant, nasty, and very self serving but... she sure got a taste of it when the audience booed her not only once but a couple times. I’m glad I’m not that bitter and angry inside.

All the candidates did a good job turning the questions back on the panel. They ALL did good. So what if Rick Perry lost his train of thought? So what? We all do that. Have you ever gone to introduce a friend of yours and your mind goes totally blank? It’s a human trait. At least Perry knows how many States he would be representing if he received the nomination for President (unlike obama)

Loaded is a mild description of the question. What she was really asking was, “Does Herman Cain have enough character to be president seeing as how he harasses women and stuff.”

You should have watched last night because the public was informed. They were informed of the distintive differences between being liberal and being conservative. The debate turned out to be us against them and it was fun to watch!

I don't understand why the other Republican candidates didn't stick up for Cain. This is America. People have a right to face their accusers, see the evidence, and call their own witnesses. Cain is being tortured and executed right before their eyes, and we don't even know if he's guilty!

The MSM is a whore. The candidates should be more principled. Man-up, you guys! (When the Gloria finishes with Herman, she's coming after the survivors.)

Maria, Americans only care about character if character is important to the candidate.
If the candidate has no values, voters don’t care about his character.
That’s how we ended up with Clinton and Obama.
