VANDALIA, Ohio — A Vandalia family is in shock when a man broke into their house, made himself at home and even put up Christmas decorations.
Police said the man's strange behavior may involve bath salts.
According to police, an 11-year-old child came home and found a stranger sitting on the couch.
Tamara Henderson was next door when her son call her.
She said, "What do you mean a man is in our house? You don't know if he has a gun or if he has a knife?"
Henderson called 911 and screamed for her neighbors.
Police reports indicated that 44-year-old Terry Trent did have a pocket knife and was most likely on bath salts. They said Trent walked through a back door and made himself comfortable.
"The candle was lit on the coffee table, the television was on and very loud, and the candle on the kitchen table was lit," Henderson said.
He also did some Christmas decorating, police said.

He can come over to my house and put em up. I don’t have any bath salts but he can a big bottle of Canola Bath oil after he’s done.

Wow... I have had dreams like this! Someone comes into my house and cleans it for me. They even do the windows and cooks dinner. LOL!

The candles weren’t the only thing that was lit!

The man was booked under the name “S. Claus” and responded to all detectives questioning with “ho, ho , ho!”
It’s a new high your kids can get for $5 in convenience stores and it whacks them out like PCP BUT! don’t be judge and jury here, they do tend to go out and perform community service and acts of random kindness like you see in this story.

The term bath salts is used to describe synthetic cocaine.
I think the term comes from that they look and have the consistency of bath salts, but I could be wrong on that point.
I didn’t know bath salts were so powerful.

Here in the city, the quickest way to ID white trash when traveling is those weight rings in ears.

The best kind of compromise one can make.
Basically, both the legal term and street name, ‘bath salts’ refers to a substance called mephadrone. Mephadrone is naturallly found in many kinds of bath salts, that you can buy anywhere, but it is also produced by the Russians in concentrate form.
It has a similar kick to cocaine and amphetamines.

Bath salts is a name they give preparations of MDPV, they label it “bath salts” so the cops can’t bust them for selling dope. Says right on the packet, Not For Human Consumption.
It’s giving drug warriors fits. Many states have made it illegal. And because of the name, most people have no clue what is being discussed.
For years I have usedd bath salts in my bath when I have aching muscles. They are nothing like this though.
