This is a great crockpot sweet potato casserole. Have made it for many years and everybody loves it. See http://www.food.com/recipe/sweet-potato-casserole-crock-pot-337498 for the recipe.
Toikey’s pretty much toikey.....the only reason Butterball commands a premium is due to “injections”.
Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread

I can't understand why people are compelled to add something..pineapple, oranges, spices. It only masks the delicious flavor of the cranberries.
There's nothing more delicious than pure fresh cranberry sauce. All you need to add is sugar and water. Simple instructions on the bag. :)
I have been eating Butterball turkey most of my life.
But, as pointed out, turkey is turkey. If you can prep it yourself (Injecting/slipping butter under the skin) then go for the cheapest per pound.
Would you rather eat this?
Or this...
On Thanksgiving Day?
You mix everything in a bowl and then pour into the slow cooker. Grease the slow cooker or use a slow cooker liner which is what I do. After pouring in the potato mix, top it with the nut and brown sugar mix. It really is terrific.
