If XBOX has corrected some of the flaws of its earlier models, then I’d say choose it. My Son has one, and it crapped out with the infamous blinking red light. Just outside of the warranty period, so it would be close to $300 to get it fixed.

Google XBOX and flashing red light for more info. There have been a lot of boxes with this issue.

The last two generations of Xbox 360 have been pretty reliable.

they were fixing them even outside of warrenty due to a defect with the originals. I believe that issue is resolved.

It would not change my recomendation to buy the xbox.
