Back in the day, we’d get detention and move on. Lesson learned. What the heck is WRONG with schools these days? Our decision to home school is continually reinforced by these stories. Even our “good” local school has some idiotic policies.

For goodness’ sake! Okay, crummy reporting. An abused child acting out? I hate the press, they can’t get anything right, can they?

Investigators said the girl could be charged with battery if the boy didn't consent to the kiss.

I suppose a 12 YO might still be thinking in terms of "cooties". But by the time 13 rolls around, the answer is not "YES" but "HELL YES!!".
