Britain’s leading green activist research centre spent £15,000 on seminars for top BBC executives in an apparent bid to block climate change sceptics from the airwaves, a vast new cache of leaked ‘Climategate’ emails has revealed. The emails – part of a trove of more than 5,200 messages that appear to have been stolen from computers at the University of East Anglia – shed light for the first time on an incestuous web of interlocking relationships between BBC journalists and the university’s scientists, which goes back more than a decade. They show that University staff vetted BBC scripts, used their contacts at the Corporation to stop sceptics being interviewed and were consulted about how the broadcaster should alter its programme output. Capture the university system (decades), capture the K-12 system (also decades), capture the entertainment industry (about 5 minutes), capture the printed media (a long time, not quite complete), capture TV (also not complete), capture the new media and talk radio (epic fail, fortunately).
If they were as good at science as they are in forming public opinion they would have walking around on Mars by now.
Defund the Brit government.
The US public won’t hear much about this as our own MSM still is overwhelmingly partisan about this ‘scientific fact” of man-made warming.

Of course for those that followed all your posts as well as others on the global warming scam and the original set of emails and documents made public two years back, we learned of how pissed off the BBC along with a number of other L/MSM where worried at how their employee’s pension funds would suffer, due to their large investments in the green industries, and financial institutions dealing in this crap, ex. carbon exchanges. Lots of folks world wide are not going to really start to sweet big time as they watch their fortunes and potential fortunes fizzle into nothing.

This is what I have been contending for the last few years. With the blatant takeover of education and the media, I just do not see how America can recover, and ever be the country that I grew up in.
It makes me somewhat thankful that I am now retired and living offshore.

Thank God this kind of information is finally making its way across the new media. I also thank God that the “mainstream” Democrat newsrooms are dying and can no longer keep this kind of news hidden from the public.
