Newly-minted MSNBC contributor Meghan McCain declared Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann “the thinking man’s Sarah Palin” after conducting her first official interview for the network with the Minnesota congresswoman.
“I famously said a statement earlier where I said that Michele Bachmann was the poor man’s Sarah Palin, and after meeting this woman I am completely wrong,“ McCain said Thursday on ”Now With Alex Wagner.“ ”This is the thinking man’s Sarah Palin.”
“I didn’t know what to expect and I’m a person who has been around politicians my entire life,” she added about meeting Bachmann. “I connected with this woman and I thought, this is what she should be doing, she’s talking about being a mother and on foreign policy things….I loved her.”
Asked later to further compare Bachmann to her father’s 2008 running mate, McCain had a grammatical hiccup when she said she found Bachmann “more smarter.”

It’s my understanding that Mensa person Meghan McCain was valedictorian for her sixth grade class for five years running. Way to go, Meghan! [BTW, you really need Jenny Craig, girl. While you’re at it, a brain transplant wouldn’t hurt.]

I am usually not a sticklet for details, and can get confused as to when to use er or est vs more and most, but you are taught in 5th grade to never use them together.
OK, Rebecca Black has dark brown or black hair, Meghan McCain has blond hair. I think I can tell them apart now.

the idea that McCain is judging the intelligence of two women (Palin & Bachmann) who have each accomplished so much more in their lives than she ever will is truly puke worthy.
She is spoiled rotten. When Meggy was very small Cindy was doing heavy pain killers that she got illegally from forged RX from the Charity she was running. I pity the poor thing, Mommy probably paid very little attention to her because of the meds,and Daddy sure did not.

Well, my 3 year-old daughter says things like “more gooder” and “most bestest”.
Based on Meathead McCain’s verbal skills, maybe I could get my daughter hired as an MSNBC contributor, too. Hell, she’s “more smarter” than that silly fat twit. (Like, you know, like, what I’m sayin’. /s)
I try really hard not to be the “grammar Nazi” on FR. I have to bite my fingers at times.
It’s best to let people just express their thoughs, and not worry about their grammmar.
The message is what is important.
That’s a good point, and it’s something that Meggy has a long history of doing. She’s always blathering in a self-absorbed manner about considering herself a “voice of my generation.” Then, whenever any topic gets beyond her extremely limited, pop-culture saturated range, she starts resorting to cheap “put-downs” of all those icky elder folks, who happen to be men and women of genuine accomplishment. Unlike her. It is indeed puke-worthy.
Again, her combination of abject ignorance along with her massive, massive sense of self-importance... well, it’s a wonder to behold.
