Conservatives are lost. Give us Barrabas!

Posted on 12/03/2011 4:42:03 PM PST by OUTKAST

After the news of Herman Cain, it appears to me that conservatives are lost.

How can you abandoned a man on allegations yet flock over to support someone who has a history of doing worse.

It reminds me of when Jesus was being betrayed by his own people instead they wanted the guy that use to rape their women an steal from them to go free..

America, you deserve what you get in 2012. You are constantly being played like sheep to a slaughter.

We can now proceed with the plans for the New World Order for the next century...

As the attacks against Cain continue they get worse and worse. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Herman ~ it's David Axelrod ~ he's got a team of people out there pulling up whatever they can to attack Cain.

He's part of a cabal of top Democrats who are acting in a conspiracy to DUMP OBAMA. They know he can't win the next election. They fear that his presence on the ticket will take down all their Representatives, Senators, Governors and members of legislatures up for election at the same time.

If Obama is not removed they fear the Democrat party will be put out of business for generations.

Cain on OUR Republican ticket keeps Obama on THEIR Democrat ticket. If Cain can get nominated as President or Vice President, the Democrats feel they are stuck with Obama.

At some level Obama knows that and his buddies made sure Mr. Cain received Secret Service protection.

I suspect that unless Cain steps aside in this campaign you're going to see the Democrats create a "rape" rape charge on the man (with no legitimate basis), and if that doesn't work they may try to assassinate him.

Nah. Cain was in a tie with Bachmann in my mind with Santorum as an acceptable alternate. Never get too attached to any single candidate.

I’m still holding firm to my tea party principles.

The only relief from FedGov™ tyranny is going to come from the state houses. And only the "red" states can or would consider what was once taboo. Secession. But I am just one voice in the wilderness that no one listens to.

Ah, let's party instead.

His bungling response to simple foreign policy questions did not help either. In fact, it was after such recent responses that his poll numbers dropped. They did not drop after the initial SH allegations. Whether we like it or not, some of his wounds were self inflicted.

Cain did not even try to defend himself. He should have demanded this accuser produce some sort of proof, but nooo.

If 0bama is reelected,

I don't think he will make is in office to the election. He is juggling too many plates and they will all fall to the floor. There is a long time until the election and many things may happen. Too much corruption for even some of the democrats.

Ditto that.

Cain needed to respond like a honey badger...but he didn't.

And why didn't he? It's complicated I think.

Complicated my @ss...honey badger ain't complicated.

I dearly love who I thought Herman was...but he ain't the honey badger!

He did it to himself. The brain freeze on Libya. I can speak for several minutes on Libya and am not running for president.

Herman Cain was abandoned because HE suspended his campaign????

This is pure idiocy to say the least!!

He quit. He should have at the very least fought the allegations if they were false.

A president can't quit. He couldn't take the heat. It's better to know now, not when lives or the nation are at stake. It doesn't matter if he's better than Obama. I've heard it said that any of the Republican candidates are an improvement. Maybe so. However, in my estimation, he is not good enough.

does anyone know if we can post a link to a video on this site as its own thread?

I have never thought of doing that, I just think this video is cool.

He was abandoned well before today’s announcement because a boatload of so-called conservatives drank the DNC and MSM Kool-Aid.

Is there a Bachmann ping list? I haven’t seen one.

I can’t believe the Tea Party worked their A$$ off in 2010 to get this crap sandwich of choosing between two RINOs for the nomination. Bachmann or Santorum should be winning this thing hands down.
