Very powerful ad. I like what I’m seeing from Gov. Perry.

Like it or not, this is one of the best all-time political commercials, ever.

I’m not in Perry’s fold at this juncture, but this is the right message.

Hate to be a wet blanket, but I’ll make a prediction here: If Perry rises in the polls, look for the media to do an all out assault on the man.

The Left-Wing media have already proven they can destroy our candidates. They did it to Sarah, they did it to Cain, and they’ll do it to all other candidates who might start surging in the polls.

I knew our fate was sealed when Freepers joined with Politico in smearing Cain.

If Perry rises sharply, I’m not sure if the media can put the hurt on the man again.

They’ve already unloaded both barrels. What would they have left?

“If Perry rises in the polls, look for the media to do an all out assault on the man.”

You mean again?

They don’t have to, there are people on this website who assault him everyday.

Please understand, this is not my wish for this to happen, but it indeed will.

Case in point: whatever came of those first four women that Cain was supposed to have sexually harassed? NOTHING! So, what happens: the Leftists march out another woman making unsubstantiated claims against Cain.

Here’s the point: it really doesn’t matter if the allegations are true or not. Even FReepers were sucked into saying: “You know, these allegations are a distraction for Cain...he needs to drop out.” Do you really think the media are going to sit back and say: “Yep, we’ve already hit Perry with both barrels...guess we’d better just accept that he rising in the polls.” No and Heck no!

If you think the media went after Perry hard early on, you ain’t seen nothing yet. That will look like child’s play if it looks like he might clinch the GOP primary. When Republicans actively decided to accept the Dems premise that mere allegations against GOP candidates was problematic, they opened the doors fully to the Leftists in determining who, and who wasn’t a viable candidate.

As I’ve said, what’s most sad about this, is that FReepers (many of whom were Perry supporters) actually joined in the chorus with Politico in castigating Mr. Cain, not realizing that the same thing WILL happen to every other GOP candidate who rises in the primary ranks.

I have a bad feeling that we’ve doomed ourselves by siding with leftists as they destroy our candidates. We are in big trouble. Cain’s deciding to drop out has confirmed that point very well.

It is not unusual for a Texas Governor to meet with and shake hands with the President of Mexico.

Mexico is the second largest trading partner with the United States of America.

Of course he will be assaulted Art...to think otherwise is naive. It’s up to us to ‘derail’ the MSM by talking to neighbors, friends....family etc. and showing them the truth.

And the truth is: If we don’t get a handle on what is going on right now and elect a pro constitutional President...it’s over. Pure and simple...we are done. The evil and the leftists (I repeat myself there) have such a grip on our institutions: i.e. education, labor etc. that if we don’t turn it around in 2012...it’s gone forever.

That’s one of my concerns as well. The power of the media is only as strong as we allow it to be. Short of serious criminal convictions, people have got to stand behind the candidates.

If people saw that conservatives were filling up the stadiums and halls and auditoriums and cheering the candidates as if they were rock stars, the media would shut up and Americans would see the support given and the effect would rub off on the candidates.

It’s our doubts about the candidates that is causing them to deflate in public, not the media.

And we have since he pushed his Trans Texas Corridor crap half a decade ago, and we will continue to persuade family, friends, and churchmrmbers not to vote for him if the Republican Party nominates him, because preserving at least one of the major parties as a party that rejects socialism is far more important than winning one election.

If you are going to elect a corrupt socialist it doesn't matter what the party affiliation is.

You have to be pretty damned stupid to think a corrupt politician's political foes will let up on him just because he runs for president. Normally, the opposition intensifies. Much of La Raza Rick's opposition comes from within his own party.

Mexico is the second largest trading partner with the United States of America.

And Texas' largest trading partner.

It's ludicrous AND unrealistic to think that because the Gov of Texas met and shook hands with the President of Mexico, that he is some sort of 'enemy' to the United States.

Mexico has ALWAYS been an intricate part of our trade; it's ridiculous to suddenly believe that a Gov, shaking hands with the President of Mexico, is an illegal lover or a traitor to our Nation. We've never treated our allies and trading partners with disdain.

I agree!

I’m committed to supporting whomever the GOP candidate is. If Perry does happen to clinch the GOP Primary win, I’ll fully support him in the general election.

Although the GOP candidates differ on their VIEWS/approaches to various issues; one commonality they all share: THEY DON’T HATE THEIR COUNTRY, AND ARE NOT TRYING TO DESTROY IT! Any one of these candidates would be a 1000% improvment over the Marxist who currently occupies the Oval Office!

The Left will never again be able to hide behind their lies. They’ve shown the evil of who they really are. They are the real enemy we face.

Cheers.

I agree.

Caiin’s base deserted him because of unsubstantiated claims.

What a disgusting situation - but it’s happened before - with Sarah and others. Too many weak kneed right holier than thou right wingers.
