I don’t know about you, but my memories of my aunts are of middle aged women who seemed older than they were to my young eyes.

Appropos of absolutely nothing, my maternal grandfather divorced my grandmother and remarried a much younger woman, and proceeded to procreate.

I have an aunt that is a year younger than me.

And yes, in about 1977, we met at a party, not knowing who she was I hit on her big time. The miniseries was pretty good for its time, aside from Molly Ringwald. Gary Sinise was spot on perfect as Stu Redman.
I just hope they don’t “pretty it up” in a new version.
