Vanity. I need your help to ban a dangerous chemical
12.5.11

Posted on 12/05/2011 5:36:44 PM PST by InvisibleChurch

A friend of mine sent me an email about a chemical being used every where we go. It's called dihydrogen monoxide. He said it does a lot of nasty things to people. Some of them are:

it causes excessive sweating and vomiting

it's a major component in acid rain

it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state

accidental inhalation of this can kill you

it contributes to erosion

it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes

it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients

Great site about the dangers of DHMO! Did you know that it's in our water bottles for Crying out loud!

I have over two feet of frozen dihydrogen monoxide on the ground here, so I am not happy with this stuff. Please come and melt it so my trees will prosper and I can get to the adult beverage store.
After all I have found it better to drink rum than water, and especially since the two do not mix very well.

Don’t forget, when it assumes the solid phase it scares the beejeebers out of people from south of the Mason-Dixon line!

I forwarded your note to EPA. Hopefully they can do something about it, maybe ban it. We have enough chemicals to deal with in this world. The last thing we need is something that messes up humans to this extent.

The gubmint has already handled this. They confiscate wet lands, remember, even when there is no dihydrogen monoxide in them.

This one’s getting kinda tiresome.

Uh, yeah. I first read it online circa 1997. It wasn't really that funny even then.

Have you heard the one where two hipsters are at a restaurant, trying to out hipster each other.

The first says, “I’ll have H20.” The second says “I’ll have H20 too.”

When the drinks came, both took a sip, and the second falls dead.

Ha Ha

What is your take on the plight of women’s suffrage?

Shouldn’t we all join together and put an end to the sufferaging?

“The gubmint has already handled this. They confiscate wet lands, remember, even when there is no dihydrogen monoxide in them. “

I’m glad they’re FINALLY on it. Where else is this a threat, and why do WE have to tell them to act?

This reminds me of one of those John Stossel-type shows, where a person in a mall kiosk was offering a capsule that would end dry skin for women. The bimbos were all for it...thought it was the best thing ever, and NEVER question the authenticity of what they were willing to swallow...every day.

It makes one wonder how ANYONE could send their kid to public schools.

Don’t laugh.

Recent medical studies indicate:

Scotch over ice causes liver problems.

Vodka over ice causes kidney problems.

Gin over ice causes brain problems.

Tequila over ice causes dental problems.

Statistically, the medical community is now convinced there is something in ice which causes innumerable problems.

Gen. Ripper was right all along.

My son and I watched that last night. The whole movie he kept saying, "isn't that Patton?"

"Shoooot, a fella could have himself a really good time in Vegas with all this stuff"

You’re obviously unaware of http://dhmo.org - they’ve been trying for YEARS to get that evil chemical banned - but had no success.
