SO much for the idea of getting the feds out of the schoolhouse, Newt wants to go deeper.

Newt is a nightmare candidate. But the base is turning to him out of total desperation. How can this end well?
Oh, so now Newt thinks youre heartless too, but he wants to do things at a national level?
We were told that minorities fare poorly in school because of very high (nearly 60%) out of wedlock births, single parents, rap music idols, drugs, and staggering rates of high school pregnancy. When does Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Gingrich plan to fix these causes? But then again Sharpton and Jackson want affirmative action and quotas to address these problems.
I find it stunning that this guy has conservatives eating liberal crap so willingly.
If Newt is hanging around with the racist Sharpton I will never vote for him.

This is where Newt’s ego and his proclivity towards being a government tinkerer and outside the box thinker gets him in trouble. He didn’t do much but he a stooge in a short video - but it was to make him look enlightened and willing to work with folks like Sharpton and Duncan.
Stupid move. Far as I know, nothing came of it, much like the Pelosi global warming thing. But it was stupid.
Newt is a fraud. Centralized government schooling was the beginning of the destruction of the minds of our future.
He is well aware of it, and he endorses that which John Stuart Mill Jr. stated would destroy education and make slaves of the masses.
Marxists took over our education —as early as Dewey who controlled the ideology in the textbooks and wanted mass conformity and injected behaviorism into the curricula to get one response—one way to think.
It is destroying our individualism—creating a collective mentality—one of dependency and it is on purpose and he understands it. I think he is one of the evil cabal of elitist one-worlders-—those homosexual Bohemian Grove types who have orgies with boy and have fake sacrifices to their gods—or Satan or their great architect in the sky. Kissinger has been one of the long standing members. Those people have really sick perverted, evil minds.

Gingrich is an unmitigated disaster. Obama and the MSM will unloose all his 747 baggage in dribs and drabs until he is so pulverized as to insure an Obama landslide. Once again, Iowa primary voters will set the table for this screw up.
My granddaughter Virginia, freshman at Ferris State in Michigan, says the minority program at her school is a disaster, most students not lasting through the first year for a variety of reasons, from poor preparation for college level work to poor attitudes. She says they are a waste of money and time for the most part. She also says that proper screening of applicants could help the program, a program with laudable goals, but like many educational “reforms,” poor execution.
