Check the submissions. Looks like the loonies have descended. Here's a beauty:

The Occupy Wall Street Protesters have been referred to by the top gop candidates as people who just need to 'take a shower' and 'get a job'. Since its a fact that most of America, the country you want to lead, supports the Occupy Wall Street Protesters my question is do you feel like the answer to the country's unemployment problem for most of America is "take a shower and get a job"?

Uhh... yeah?

I don't start many threads but I did not see this posted yet with search function and it really infuriated me this AM.

Income equality appears exactly where in the United States Constitution?

(Intended for the unwashed .5 percenters throwing their street tantrum)

Good point - the premise of the question is wrong. The federal government does not exist to correct income inequality and does not have the authority to do so, not even if mandating greater equality of outcomes is accepted as a desirable outcome.

Yes, my question:

Are poor people poor because of me or because they are idiots? Thank you.

Dear GOP field: Please show President Obama and his followers in OWS, when in recorded human history there has ever been income equality.

Oh, there never has been? Imagine that!

How is it fair that someone who works hard, takes their education seriously, saves and focuses on their future, and risks their money for investment gets more money at the end if the year than someone who smokes pot, lived with Mom until they are 30, and majored in Indigenous Studies?

"Would you agree with the following quote by Winston Churchill ..... ?"

“Capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings,” Churchill once said, “and socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”

Okay, so... here’s a question: if I’m an energetic and hard-working business genius who’s taken the time to learn my trade and educate myself in the principles of business and economics such that I’m making a good living for myself and my family, but I’m surrounded by morons whose only virtue is the operatic volume of their demands for MY money - why is it that in the modern world I’m expected to give it to them?

Answer THAT.

If we manage to erase all income inequalities, i.e. everyone gets paid exactly the same, how to they plan to encourage people to get educated, work harder or work in heavy, dangerous, stressful or difficult jobs, or any jobs at all?

So, I make sacrifices. Put myself through school, work my butt off to earn a good wage.....why should I care if Larry Lazy’s income is 20k a year because he chooses to sit on his ass? The inequality isn’t MY fault.

Assuming that “income inequality” is a financial artifact of differences in personal ability and effort, aren’t both equality of opportunity and equal treatment under the law ultimately damaged by government efforts to ensure equal outcomes?

As a Democrat relative of mine asked (and I am not making this up); "Just because someone is smart, well educated, works hard, and invests their money wisely, why should they have more than someone else?"

Again, I am not making this up, this is a verbatim quote.

Dem relatives ... or mixed marriages ... don’t work out well, eventually.

Newt will knock that out of the park if it comes up. The majority of US citizens DO NOT support the OWSies.

Why is it a function of the government to have an opinion on income “inequality”?

I re-checked my handle and it’s still not “AzConservative” :(

Sadly, this comes from your mainstream press, one day after the “Income Inequality” screed from Il Douché, in an attempt to legitimize through repetition.
