The following are statements issued by Patricia Nalley, President of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education, Dr. Kevin M. Maxwell, Superintendent of schools, and Vicki Plitt, Principal of Glen Burnie High School. Additionally, the school sent home a letter to parents this afternoon explaining the situation.

Glenn Burnie is a “good” area. Most of these school outrages are almost always from a socialist K-12 school that would be considered “good”.

The “Age of Conscent” in MD is 16. In Quebec it’s only 13 BUT there’s a kicker in both places. Have at it as long as you don’t break the age barrier and you MAY NOT screw or otherwise have sex) with your student or any young person over whom you have “power”.

Hey, you have to park your kids somewhere during the day. You really don’t have much of a choice — you can homeschool if you’re lucky and smart enough, send your kid to private school if you can afford it, or send your child to the local public school and hope for the best.
You know what? You can go to jail if you can’t do any better than the local public school — compulsory education laws, doncha know.
