Investigators say a woman told police that she did not think it was illegal to perform sexual acts on massage clients at her home if she asked permission first.

Police began an undercover investigation after a complaint was filed on about possible prostitution by a concerned citizen. Witnesses reported that men were arriving at the residence and staying no longer than an hour before leaving. Police began surveilling the home and questioning the men as they left the residence.

An undercover police detective went to the residence as a customer with $150. He was wired with an audio transmitting device and a video device...He was brought upstairs and into a room that had a massage table set up. The suspect began the massage wearing a blue skirt and suit jacket, but during the massage she began taking off articles of clothing until she was topless and wearing only a thong.

When the suspect finished the back massage, she asked the detective to turn over and began massaging his chest, arms and legs, according to the detective. The suspect then asked if there were any other places the detective would like to have massaged.

The detective told her it was his first time doing something like this and told her he didn't know what else could be done. She then asked if he would be comfortable having his hip area massaged. He said yes. She removed the detective's underwear and began massaging his inner thighs.

She then asked if he would be comfortable with her massaging his [AHEM...cough, cough]. The detective again replied yes and she began to massage his [cough cough]. The detective told her he felt uncomfortable and ended the massage. The detective then paid the woman $150.

“”Police began an undercover investigation after a complaint was filed on about possible prostitution by a concerned citizen.”

That’s what’s wrong with the world today. Too many busybodies.

Where was this again? And be specific.

The sidebar shows this one:

while the article shows three: this one, the tough-looking gal and the last a floating commercial. When I looked, it was for "Fresh Pumpkin Favorites". :-)

The tough gal pic reminds me of a great line from the sitcom "Wings". The resident sleaze (Roy Biggins) is introduced to the boss of a group of beautiful models. She, on the other hand, looks like a wrestler and has the same mannerisms. After the introduction, Biggins turns to Joe and says, "She looks mean and looks like she could hurt me. How can I ever thank you!"

If she only charged for giving a massage and the sex act was never discussed then it would be legal. Sex is not illegal yet.

I’m shocked, I tell you, shocked!

Massages and sex acts?

Why, those things just don’t go together.

Taint natural, I say, taint natrual.

It’s hard to believe this is the best use of the Tyler, TX, police’ time.

The department is either too big with too much time on its hands or just plain stupid.

Apologies to all FReepers on this thread and especially to the Tyler, TX Police Department! This actually happened in Mt. Pleasant, SC, but it was reported by the Tyler, TX television station.

So, if you’re looking for an undercover cop position, apply to Mt. Pleasant.

Oh, and BTW, it was the Mount Pleasant, SC police, not the Tyler, TX police. Why such a routine bust made the news in Texas, I don’t know.

Also, in addition to prosecution, she was charged with operating a business without a license. That charge will almost certainly stick.

If I get picked for the jury, I already know that I will vote Not Guilty.

“prosecution” should be “prostitution”, of course.

And oddly enough, I was just down that way a few months ago. Didn’t get a massage while I was there, however.
