Yeah, but Teddy had probably never started a lawnmower in his lifetime.
“She might have took my car keys, but she forgot about my ol’ John Deere...”
Is his name Steve. I love the youtube video of Steve the Lawnmower guy get arrested for driving drunk on a sky Jacl
I saw those blue lights flashin’ over my left shoulder
He walked right up and said get off that riding mower
I said sir let me explain before you put me in the tank
She took my keys away and now she won’t drive me to drink
I need a honky tonk song a cold cold beer
A hardwood floor a smoky atmosphere
A pocket full of change to last me all night long
I gotta hear old Hank a moanin’ a honky tonk song
[ guitar ]
He didn’t show me much compassion when I tried to walk that line
As he put those handcuffs on me I said give me one more try
He never even cracked a smile when he threw me in the car
So I said sir if you don’t mind oh would you drop me off in a bar
I need a honky tonk song...

Nope. Donald Wymer.
It is a motorized vehicle, and he was on the street...
Well how the hell’s a fella sposed to get his licker after he’s lost his license?
“It is a motorized vehicle, and he was on the street...”
Thank you captain obvious.
It only took 8 posts for the first person to come in and support blind adherence to the letter of the law.
Wow. In my little town, in the middle of summer you can easily spot at least 4-6 lawnmowers parked at the bar in town...

Sod off arseportal. So you want to start to pick & choose what laws are enforced and what ones aren’t? Yeah, this appears absurd on the surface - but if we’re going to have DWI laws on the books, they should be enforced. Period. Even if its a Segway on a side-street.
Keith, are you ok with getting a DWI while riding a horse?
Not trying to be a smarta$$, I just wonder.
How about a Segway on the sidewalk?
Do you think he would have been arrested for DUI if he had been driving a gas-powered La-Z-Boy like this one?
Yeh, and besides, he could have “cut” in front of somebody, or “mowed” a child down.
I’m waiting for “lawn boy” to start moving
Sorry about that devolve, looks like it’s 2.9mgs!! I found it on aesopsretreat.com and laughed out loud.
I just double posted on the other thread and someone else did too. It’s taking forever for me to post something.
Thanks for that post, sunshine. You must be a joy to sit next to in a bar. No wonder you’re a Browns fan.
I didn’t know George Jones lived in North Platte.
“No wonder youre a Browns fan.”
Really? That’s all you have?
Does your mom know you’re using her computer? With a wit like that, I’d imagine you to be more suited to crayola and paper.
“Sod off arseportal. So you want to start to pick & choose what laws are enforced and what ones arent?”
Just looking for a little common sense and discretion. Apparently those are things that escape you.
Carry on, comrade.
>>>Just looking for a little common sense and discretion. Apparently those are things that escape you.
No, those things escape YOU dolt.
Common sense is following the law. You seem to not to want to do that.
“Common sense is following the law. You seem to not to want to do that.”
Apparently you’re quite selective with rules. Did you read the FR posting rules? Ad hominem, (that’s personal attacks), attacks are expressly forbidden. Yet you choose to ignore that. Calling me a “dolt” and a “schmuck” you should be banned? Right?
That’s the problem with authoritarian types. They like strict enforcement of the rules, until it applies to them.
So you’re saying all laws are good? The government is always right? So every single law is well crafted, and any infraction should be punished?
Once again, you display flawed logic, at best.
Nice deflection... Im not the one advocating an unequal enforcement of DUI laws based on the type of vehicle driven - you are. Get over yourself.
“Nice deflection... Im not the one advocating an unequal enforcement of DUI laws based on the type of vehicle driven - you are. Get over yourself.”
Rather than address my points, you dismiss it all as deflection. I see you won’t be moved. Blind adherence to the law is what you desire.
If that riding mower could go faster than 10mph, I’d consider it more of a hazard. Drunk in public is a more reasonable charge than DUI for a riding mower. Crossing the street drunk is every bit as dangerous as a riding mower.
So, if someone is drunk and in a motorized wheel chair, that’s DUI?
Common sense tends to escape authoritarians. Since you are entrenched, and unable to consider opposing viewpoints, I’ll end with this post.
He could have let go...
Yep, it looks like something made up for “Funny Home Videos”. I’ll probably delete it as it’s a huge file and not much use.
