I guess when you are over the target, you start catching flack. I wonder what Arpaio is doing that attracted so much recent anger from the Government and the Media?
What does that actually mean?
None of this kind of Obama guff would have a prayer of working if so many people weren’t sheeple.
Joe has been known for accelerating catches of illegales found in some other crime (he never goes looking for them when otherwise behaving themselves). Maybe the dust-up over Alabama has gotten Obama specially riled up.
Whatever evidence Arpaio’s team found on Obama’s lack of eligibility for the presidency must be accurate. Looks like Holder is trying to railroad Arpaio first.
What does that actually mean?
In my understanding it means you focus the public attention on it and hold it there (freeze it) to serve as a target of hatred.
Kind of like Emmanuel Goldstein in 1984.
In media terms, you make it the subject of unrelenting bad publicity to discredit it.
Not just Holder, but the entire Democrat/Media complex.

WE need more like him. Joe should reach out to Rush Limbaugh for some strategic advice. Rush is a pro at turning something like this into an “Egg on Face” embarrassment to accusers.

I think before this is over, Sheriff Joe is going to need all the help he can get. I shall not be surprised if they soon accuse him of drug dealing or child molestation, or anything else they think might stick.
They appeal to the baser nature of humanity. In most cases, the target audience is Democrats.

Arapaio has Obama’s life history documented and is going to release it in February. Holder is trying to destroy Arapaio as soon as possible.
I think you give Holder and Obama too much credit. This is not Joe's rodeo. He has been the subject of one lawsuit or another for the better part of his career. He enjoys overwhelming support from his legally voting consituents and his Governor.
I think Joe is an old fashion tough but fair law enforcement officer that follows to the letter. I think he is a study of the law and as such tends to garner the respect of friends and enemies alike. I don't doubt someone could drum up something on him. His biggest danger is getting Scooter Libbied.
That is my guess as to the reasons behind the current media onslaught as well. Arpaio must have something deadly. I hope he makes it to February.

You are exactly right. I wish it were just the moonbats at Fogblow who made the argument I cited. Yet I have seen it countless times right here on this site. How can the people who put forward such obvious BS *not* be Obots??? The evidence has been there from the beginning. Not even Dems are immune. Stepanopolis [however you spell it] asked one very mild, non-threatening question of Obama the candidate re: Jeremiah Wright. The fascists of Journolist coalesced instantly on a strategy of severe, scathing retaliation [against Steppi]. They carried it out, too—so effectively that no other ‘journalist’ dared mention the name of Wright to Obama ever again.
Yet people have the gall and unmitigated jerkitude to say, ‘Since no official has investigated the ‘birther’ claims, they must be nonsense’.
There are only two options. The people who say that are stupid. Or they are Obots. That is the choice; there is no third option.

Maybe Joe should release the report a little sooner. I guess it should be out in 45 days.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio should hold a nation wide News conference on why is Obama and Holder going after sheriff Joe on false trumped up charges ? and is it because of Sheriff Joe’s investigation on Obama’s fraud ?
In other words, the Feds going after Joe is giving Joe and the issue of eligibility more free press time and free publicity.

Given that the Bush DOJ started this process in 2008, what really seems too coincidental is Sheriff Joe’s jumping on the birther bandwagon this year just when the investigation is about to heat up.
It takes 3 years to "heat up" an investigation? Just goes to show you the high degree of concern and importance with which they regarded this matter.
Shouldn't they have "saved" the victims in the intervening three years some misery if they thought the Sheriff's Dept. was abusing them?
