I'm looking for a Wizard of Id cartoon by Johnny Hart. Sir Rodney & the Squire are watching the King begin archery practice. The King prepares to shoot at a blank wall.
Sir Rodney asks, "Where is the target?"
The Squire replies, "Just watch."
The King hits the blank wall and immediately a servant boy runs out with a paint bucket & brush. He proceeds to paint a target around the King's arrow, which ends up in the center of the bulls-eye.

Do any Freepers have a link to this cartoon? Thanks!
That’s precisely how Kim Jong Il practiced!
Seriously?
Any links?
This is a good example of how the Antropocentric Global Warming agenda is executed.

I’ve looked for the Charlie Brown/Peanuts version more than once, so far without success, so I’ll settle for the one you find.
a little posting help...next post the comic, if you seen it I am sure its online :p
Thanks!
You have started me looking in the correct place. I’m going through these cartoons now. If I find it, I will post.
I’ve searched the website for some time. So far, I have not found it. I’ll keep looking.
Similar to what you described, but not exact:
Thanks for the link. As you say, it is similar, but not really what I was looking for.
Once my eyes get uncrossed, I’ll spend a few more hours looking through the archives. It is amazing how many cartoons Johnny Hart drew in his lifetime!
I’ve tried narrowing my search to:
arrow
archery
target
painted
King, Rod, Duke
archery practice
but most cartoons do not have keywords.
