UPS came today and delivered a pkg I wasn't expecting. I called the wife to see if she had ordered something and she said it was my present, and that I should open it to make sure it worked as advertised.

So I went online and read up on it. Most reviews were ok, but not gleaming, some were were bad.
So far, I find it to work exactly as advertised. I am very pleased with the performance and features.
My wife gave me a tablet for Christmas. Viagra! Do you think she’s trying to tell me something?
:) Enjoy your tablet.
Ok, that was funny. I like funny. It makes me laugh.
This library management tool would be worth your while for ebooks:
Together with plugins from Apprentice Alf you can strip copy protection from the ebooks you buy and format shift them as needed. Recently the .Lit standard (once the largest market sector) was abandoned so it behooves you to format shift whatever books are important to you as the years progress.
Better than divorce papers or a ‘fleshlight’.
I think a tablet computer would be cheaper in the long run..
Nice. I’ve kind of lost my Linux enthusiasm of late, but I still read up on some of it.
I bought my wife an Ipad 1 last year, and I bought a Samsung tab for me a couple of months ago. The iPad 10” screen is so worth it. The Samsung only has 7” of real estate, and I find it difficult to type. I like both. If I had to choose, I’d probably stay with the iPad, but the lack of flash bugs the heck out of my wife. Maybe the Samsung in 10” would be the best of both worlds. But I have zero intention of screwing around with it, rooting and stuff. If it doesn’t work out of the box, I get impatient and leave it lying around, unused.
How much will you have to pay a month? (I’m looking at options for tablets, and this does look interesting.)
Boy, your wife must be rich if she can afford Viagra!
Viagra goes off patent in April, and will be much cheaper then.
Oh, Oh, you know what happens after four hours? More fun! Is that not a selling point made out as a warning and Viagra didn’t do it until the others did?
Excellent humor, made me laugh and my wife got online for something...
Hope you enjoy your new toy!
I usually don’t get hyped on techie gizmos, as I work in IT all day...but, I reeeealy want a tablet, specifically the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. A close second is the Motorola Xyboard.
Just can’t justify spending $500+ on it. Maybe someday...
Thanks, I have Calibre on my Linux pc, didn’t know it was avail. for Android. Now I do.
” The Samsung only has 7 of real estate, and I find it difficult to type.”
Try thumb keyboard. It splits the keyboard and you use your thumbs.Works pretty good.
I have a Tablet PC, love it. But, it’s not mobile enough to toss around or read as I laying down.
Why not read laying down? I use my DROID for everything but my arms go numb laying down...
Pay per month for what? I already have internet service, if that’s what you mean. I pay $34 a month for it. My wife sent me the receipt. She bought it from QVC on some kind of hourly deal. She paid $158. for it. It’s retail is $212.
Yea....who got the rest of them?
Yeah, most of us have get free samples of Cialis from our Docs.
