You’ll have to get in line, pal. I’ve got dibs on a HyperMotard 796.

I fell in love with the Lenovo. But, since it’s my first and I want to FUBAR it, as a method of learning of course, I thought it best to start with something cheap.

It’s kinda awkward holding a Tablet PC up and at an angle while laying in bed. At least for me, it is. :)

The iPad has an orientation button which keeps in from flipping between portrait and landscape so you can read on your side or on your back.

I’ll bet your device has one.

Yes, it does. But, I thought the poster was referring to a Tablet PC, as in a laptop with an articulating screen and Windows OS. I have one of those, too, an Toshiba R15. But this Pandigital Tablet is so light and small, it’s real easy to read and toss on the bed. Ya’ know?

I've never owned one, but have been lucky enough to get some seat time on several. I think that my all time favorite was the Supermono. Not as fast as the big twin, but as agile and easy to ride as anything I've ever been on. I helped to move the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa Iowa a couple of years ago and spent a good deal of the time plotting to steal the pristine 900SS bevel drive!

You’ll love it. I got Galaxy 10.1 that replaced my original 7” Galaxy tablet for Christmas myself. I’m loving the hell out of it.

I can save you some time though. Since your device is running 2.3 like my old tab, don’t bother looking at the tablet apps in the android market. In android speak, tablet apps are for Honeycomb (3.0) and later.

Interesting. My wife already has an Ipad, but she has taken over my 7” Galaxy Tab after buying me a 10.1 for Christmas. I’ve got a feeling that we’re going to have an Ipad on ebay before too long.

The screen is way better on the 10.1 tablet than the Ipad IMHO. The 16:9 widescreen format is simply more media friendly than the 4:3 Ipad screen. Running say Netflix, by the time the movie is letterboxed on the Ipad, it’s not much bigger than on your 7” tablet. It looks downright dinky next to my newer, larger tablet.

Reminds me, I have a Logitech Revue (browsing, etc., for TV) to unbox. $79 refurbished and I noticed Honeycomb was installed just prior to shipment.

I would have to “root” my SuperNova to use the app market anyway. I use 1Mobile and GetJar, and a few others. Bypasses google’s absolute control over distribution this way. tee-hee.
